CUSTOMIZING AUCTION LISTING PRESENTATIONS

Step 1

Go to the UC intranet and look up the auction listing presentations under the Auction Services folder.

Step 2

Select Auction Listing Tools & Presentations

Step 3

Select the relevant SPG you’re working with

Step 4

Download and open the PowerPoint

Step 5

Edit the Copy Content for Your Sale

Step 6

Edit the Images for Your Sale

Hint – Images are embedded into the document as shapes so you will use the Drawing Tools Menu for this part

  1. Click on the image you want to change and select “Drawing Tools – Format” at the top of your screen.
  2. Select the “Shape Fill” option
  3. Select the “Picture” option

Navigate to where you store the image you want to use on your computer, select it, then select “Insert”

Step 7

Your image has now been inserted – if ok, you’re done.  If it needs some adjustment:

Hint – now you will make changes to the image itself using the Picture Tools Menu Option

  1. Click on the image, select “Picture Tools Format” at the top of your screen. Here you can change the picture effects, make corrections and add borders and effects to the image. 
  2. If you need to fit the image, use the Crop drop down and drag/rotate the image as needed until it looks like how you’d like.

Step 8

That’s it!  Feel free to change the content and images to your liking/needs and be sure to save the file!
